The PRISM Fluid Bed Coater cGMP Model offers an effective and efficient method for drying & pallet coating. It is invented keeping in mind the latest cGMP norms with all contact parts AISI 316 Quality. By using modular construction and simplified design we provide flexible installation. The Machine is vertical type, Electric Heated, PLC controls Auto Mode, Arrangement for Spraying an active ingredient on to the carrier bed for top spraying and suitable for efficient accurate and uniform drying wet granulated pharmaceutical solid powder at lower temperature.

PROCESS

It works on the principle of air flow. 

Step 1  : Mixing: Dry mixing by fluidizing the material in the machine 

Step 2  : Granules Coating & Pallet Coating / WURSTER SYSTEM:

This process is used to apply a coating to the granules or pallets. This process is known as waster coater. In this process the spray is done inside a hollow cylinder and from the bottom of this cylinder the pallets are allowed in small quantity to enter the hollow cylindrical tube. Then the particles are passing the bottom spray guns on orderly manner quickly moving upward the tubes to avoid agglomeration. Once they are outside the wurster compartment, they move downward outside the compartment where they dry another layer of coating can be supplied. • Prism Fluid Bed Dryer involves fast drying, cooling and agglomeration of particulate materials. It is ideal for heat sensitive and non heat sensitive products in Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals and Biochemical, Food and Dairy Industries.
• The Fluid Bed Dryer have a bed of solid particles which are fluidized by passing a stream of air upward through a specially designed perforated sheet.
• The upward velocity of air is so maintained so as to slightly lift the solid particles and set them in motion. This motion can be utilized to bring about mixing as well as forward movement of the solids particles.
